Williams, Ph.D. in 1996 with a vision of a worship place where the Spirit of the Lord could freely move and change the lives of believers for the better. On November 21, 1996, Bishop Henry E. Williams, Ph.D was consecrated as a bishop in the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International under Presiding Bishop Paul S. Morton.

In The Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International, Bishop Williams served on the international level as Bishop of the College of Ordained Elders. While serving in the capacity of bishop in the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International, Bishop Henry E. Williams, Ph.D oversaw the successful transition of many churches, pastors, and states into the folds of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship through effective teaching, management, and leadership. Adding to his legacy of mentorship and helping others, most recently, Bishop Dr. H. E. Williams embarked upon a rewarding headship journey as the Presiding Bishop of the Maranatha Word Fellowship International – Pastors & Spouses Teaming Together in Ministry (PASTIM), which consists of churches from diverse denominational, cultural, and membership-size backgrounds.

As presiding bishop of an international fellowship, he serves as the mentor, adviser, and resident theological expert for the men and women who are a part of the fellowship.  Bishop Dr. Henry E.
